Fantasy, dream and imagination only exist in our minds. The floating imaginations give us sensational feelings that we live in another existing world. This brings hope and drives people to become part of an ideal world. We make airplanes because we can’t fly. We can’t meet our lovers right now so we invent video calls. There are countless things made from imaging. After a second we could get married, have 100 children, become super heroes… people might even have the power to grant these wishes in the near future. The imaginative world is capable of changing the reality we see. The Imaginary Park is an exhibition where people share these free-form imaginations.
[Imagination Equipment]
We imagine a park as a symbol of an open and accessible place to all. The motifs of the playground equipments are based on the creator’s imagination. The design, colour and placements were made from considering a universal standpoint. We aim to create a space to provide for many disabilities.
[Imagination Play]
In the exhibition, guests can play with surreal AR characters on their smartphones to experience playing in a fantasy world. Even if you’re unable to visit the exhibition, the park can be enjoyed at home by downloading the paper craft file.
[Imaginative letter for tomorrow]
Imaginary Park package includes a letter set (envelope, letter paper, small braille kit, mailing manual) which guests are able to write letters at the exhibition. How about imagining your future self, significant others and writing a letter?
*Opening dates and times might differ depending on conditions.
